Tucked away in the peaceful village of Penmachno, just four miles from the popular tourist centre of Betws y Coed, Bwthyn y Cwm is a traditional stone cottage built in 1865.

The accommodation comprises:
Open plan lounge/diner and kitchen area. Comfortable three piece suite, colour television, dvd and video. Dining area with seating for four.
The small kitchen area is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge microwave and toaster etc.
Modern bathroom, double glazed, with electric heating and shaver socket.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor, one double and one single.
Duvets and pillows are provided.
Bed linen and towels are also provided, if requested, for a small additional charge.
Hot water is provided by immersion heater and heating is by electric storage heaters with an additional electric fire in the lounge.
electricity is included in the price.

The local pub, which is just three minutes walk away, is a great place to meet the locals and sample a pint of well kept real ale.
In Betws y Coed there are good restaurants, an excellent café, a post office and a mini-market in addition to numerous unique and interesting tourist shops.

Nestling in a picturesque valley, Penmachno makes an ideal base from which to tour the majestic scenery of Snowdonia.
There are beautiful waterfalls all around including the famous Conwy Falls just two miles away.
 

For anyone interested in birds, the RSPB reserves at Conwy and Glaslyn (for Ospreys)  are  within easy reach, while a visit to Lake Vyrnwy or the spectacular cliffs at South Stack make a superb day out.
