Restmoor cottage is a spacious three bedroom cottage, situated in the delightful village of Middleton.
The accommodation comprises:
One double, one twin and a single bedroom. The single having an extra long bed for that extra tall person.
Pretty bathroom with bath, power shower and shaver socket. Separate wc.
Lounge with comfortable easy chairs and large settee. TV, video and cd player, a selection of cds, video cassettes and books for your entertainment.
Large dining room leading to the fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, electric cooker, microwave and fridge.
Basic heating is provided by night storage heaters and both lounge and dining rooms have additional gas fires.
For winter there is also a full gas central heating system.
Gas and electric are included in the price.
Duvets and pillows are provided but there is a small additional charge if bed linen and towels are required.

The numerous village shops include cafes, restaurants, pubs, post office and a small supermarket.
The peninne way passes through the village. The local attractions include walks through the surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty, the spectacular waterfalls of High Force, Low Force and Couldron Snout. Raby Castle, the historic market town of Barnard Castle and the Bowes Museum.
Hamserley Forest offers picnic areas, tearooms and nature trails through beautiful woodland.
The central location makes for easy day trips to the lake district, the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, Durham Castle and Cathedral, and Hadrians Wall.

For those interested in birds, the dale is a veritable paradise with a huge list of breeding species including Woodwarbler, Pied Flycatcher, Dipper and numerous waders.
Middleton is only eight miles from the famous Black Grouse lek at Langdon Common.
The seabird colonies at Bempton Cliffs, the Golden Eagle and Ospreys in Cumbria are all within easy reach and a trip to the Farne Islands makes an unforgettable day out.
Sorry no pets and no smoking in the cottage.
